As seen from Lymington, the mountains encircling Port Cygnet make an ideal setting for a nocturnal landscape that opens to a realm of dreaming. As a child, the artist lived within walking distance of Manhattan's MoMA where her favourite works was Henri Rousseau's "Sleeping Beauty", a naive nocturnal fantasy.
Born New York 1941. Lives and works in Lymington Tasmania. Exhibiting since 1960s including solo show at Gallery Bodalla, NSW 2012.
