Intended to reveal the subtle changes of reflected light on the foreshore, and evoke a sense of mystery by denying obvious pictorial representation.

Artist background

Born Hobart 1947 where he lives and works. A multiple finalist in the Wynne and Archibald prizes. Winner of the Archibald in 2003. Represented in many major collections both in Australia and internationally.
