Patterns emerge and dissolve above and beneath the fine veil that binds the image in its liquid skin. Layers of information collide, intersect and transmute, echoing the growth and decay of organic life in its continuous cycle of transition and transformation.

Artist background

Born Glasgow, Scotland 1966. Lives and works in Forth, Tasmania. Exhibiting since 1989 including solo shows at Sawtooth ARI Launceston 2012; Academy Gallery  LAunceston 2009; Devonport Regional Gallery 2003; Plimsoll Gallery Hobart 1999; & Bond Store TMAG 1997. Group shows include 'Standback' Moonah Arts Centre 2015; & 'Felt Presence' Devonpirt Regional Gallery 2013. Work held in TMAG, Devonport Regional Gallery, Artbank & Scottish Arts Council.
