In 2008 the annual art competition in Australia, the John Glover Prize winner is: Neil Haddon for his painting Purblind (opiate) Neil Haddon recieved $30,000 in prize money, plus a maquette, bronze sculpture of the John Glover by Peter Corbett valued at $4,000. 
The presentation was made by Brendan Blomeley representing the principal sponsor: Federal Group Tasmania. The announced was made at the official opening on Friday 7th March 2008 at Falls Park Pavillion, Evandale, Tasmania. Glover Prize 2008 Results...
